All our handrails are undercoated in red oxide primer and hand painted in full gloss to give a stylish and long lasting coating. For an extra fee we can also have the metal work galvanised in order to give a low maintenance rust resistant coating. This ‘hot dip’ galvanizing process involves the completed metal work being dipped in molten zinc which gives the underlying steel a long lasting coating to protect against rust and the unforgiving Scottish weather.
